Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing sales leader to join our firm as an Investor Relations Manager focused on highly-considered purchases to drive capital raising, investor service, and investor engagement. This role is ideal for a relationship-oriented sales professional who excels at building trust, managing a pipeline, and working with sophisticated clients.
While experience in private real estate or private equity is a plus, we are primarily looking for someone who understands consultative selling, long-cycle relationship management, and high-net-worth client engagement—and can translate those skills into the world of private investments.
You will act as a key ambassador for Romano Capital, helping investors understand our strategy and guiding them through the investment process.

Duties / Responsibilities
Capital Raising & Sales Execution
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, nurturing, and closing new investors
- Build and actively manage a pipeline of high-net-worth and accredited investors
- Source opportunities through marketing leads, outbound outreach, referrals, events, and existing networks
- Conduct compelling 1:1 meetings, calls, and presentations to convert prospects into investors
- Consistently meet or exceed capital raising and activity targets
Investor Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships that drive repeat investments and referrals
- Act as a trusted partner to investors, simplifying complex investment concepts
- Maintain proactive, high-touch communication throughout the investor lifecycle
Strategic Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and lead generation strategies
- Provide frontline feedback on investor sentiment, objections, and market trends
- Collaborate with the Investments team to align investor demand with offerings
Pipeline & Performance Management
- Track all activity, pipeline progression, and results in CRM
- Maintain disciplined follow-up and outreach cadence
- Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or capital raising focused on large ticket or other highly-considered transactions. Direct experience in financial services, real estate, or alternative investments is a plus but not required.
- Proven ability to build relationships and convert high-value clients
- Strong consultative selling skills and comfort with longer sales cycles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required

Work Environment
This position is a full-time role with typical office hours. It is on site at our Vancouver Office. The work environment is generally within an office environment with a noise level from quiet to moderate.

Compensation Range
$90,000 – $150,000 per year
