Romano Capital is a fast-growing real estate investment firm with a strong focus on the attractive Clark County, WA market. As we expand, we are looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and execute all aspects of our marketing strategy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and can seamlessly balance growth marketing expertise with hands-on leadership in brand building, product marketing, content strategy, and broader marketing operations.
Role Overview
As the Director of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and brand visibility for our company. You’ll own the strategy and execution of a full-stack marketing operation with emphasis on the growth marketing function—primarily focused on user acquisition, lifecycle marketing, conversion, and performance marketing. Simultaneously, you’ll have oversight and manage efforts across product marketing, design, content creation, social media, PR, and overall brand strategy.
This is a hands-on, strategic position for a growth-focused marketer who can execute with autonomy and manage a small but growing team. You’ll be expected to build out the marketing infrastructure, execute campaigns across multiple channels, and continuously optimize for ROI. Experience in the real estate investment space or acquisition of high net worth investors is highly desirable, but not required—what matters most is your ability to drive performance and your familiarity with digital marketing best practices.

Duties / Responsibilities
Growth Marketing & User Acquisition:
• Lead the digital advertising strategy to drive user acquisition, using channels like paid search, affiliates, display, social media ads, and email marketing.
• Develop and manage lifecycle marketing strategies that engage, nurture, and convert prospects into investors and customers.
• Track and analyze marketing performance metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV) to continuously optimize campaigns and channels.
Brand Strategy & Execution:
• Own the overall brand strategy ensuring brand consistency and alignment with the company’s mission and vision.
• Manage creative processes to produce high-quality design, content, and marketing assets for all channels.
• Oversee content strategy, ensuring the development of engaging and valuable content across various touch points (blogs, videos, newsletters, etc.).
Product Marketing & Positioning:
• Collaborate with investment and development teams to understand investment offerings, translating them into compelling messaging for prospects and investors.
• Develop and implement offering launch strategies, including content, PR, and communications that elevate positioning in the market.
Social Media & PR:
• Oversee social media marketing, including organic and paid efforts, to build brand awareness and foster engagement with potential investors and partners.
• Manage external PR relationships to secure press coverage, awards, and other public relations opportunities to enhance the company’s reputation.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Lead and mentor a small but growing marketing team (currently 1 direct report), fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Work closely with Sales, Investments, Development, and Executive teams to ensure alignment on key messaging, campaigns, and market positioning.
Marketing Operations & Optimization:
• Continuously monitor and optimize marketing workflows, budgets, and campaigns to ensure maximum efficiency and ROI.
• Ensure strong analytics and reporting capabilities are in place to track and communicate marketing performance.
Key Qualifications
Experience:
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in marketing, with a proven track record of growth marketing, digital advertising, and user acquisition strategies.
• Prior experience managing and executing across the full marketing stack, including brand marketing, content, design, product marketing, PR, and social media.
• Experience in the real estate investment, private equity, or finance sectors is a major plus.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, programmatic, etc.) and familiarity with marketing automation tools.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, etc., to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to build and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive growth.
• Expertise in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and the ability to work with teams to design marketing funnels that improve user engagement.
• Experience with brand development, positioning, and messaging to effectively communicate company value propositions.
• Excellent communication skills—able to craft compelling messaging for investors, customers, and the general public.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment while balancing multiple priorities.

• Strong project management and organizational skills to manage a variety of marketing activities.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved with all things marketing, from event planning to signage to copywriting.
• Passion for real estate investment, finance, or the alternative investment space.

Work Environment
This position is a full-time role with typical office hours. It is onsite at our Vancouver Office. The work environment is generally within an office environment with a noise level from quiet to moderate.

Compensation Range
$120,000 – $150,000 per year
