The Capital Preservation 100 Fund is a mortgage fund formed for the purpose of making first position loans. The Fund raises money through investor subscriptions and then uses this money to make short term loans. Investors commit to the Fund for a set period of 2-, 5- or 10-year terms and receive a note rate based on that commitment. The Fund makes its loans under strict underwriting standards that require all loans to be secured by real estate in the first position.
